Warm welcome to the opening of TATAU – Freedom | Identity | Memory
TATAU is a photo exhibition that presents tattoos of women from different cultures such as Amazigh, Kurd, Maori, Balkan and Sápmi.
The exhibition is a tribute to women’s stories about one of the oldest traditions in the world - tattoos.
This is an exhibition about freedom, memory, identity, resistance and community.
Evening programme
16.30 – 19.00 DJ Nessa playing music that flow between house and soul. Nessa’s signature style mixes between underground songs with roots in electronic and a heavy Afro global sound.
17.00 – 19.00 Henna tattooing by Nesma (3) Instagram
18.00 Introduction and guided tour by Rasha Shaaban, exhibition producer.
And, of course great food and cold drinks!
Free entry for everyone under 19 years old and annual pass holders. An annual pass cost 180kr.
